I knew I was gay at 18. I came out publicly after 50.
For 30 years, I navigated corporate environments, religious communities, and family expectations while hiding half of who I was.
I grew up in a deeply religious environment where loving another woman meant hiding. I know the cost of that silence because I lived it for decades.
I watched women get drawn to my freedom and then freeze. Too much at stake. Too many eyes watching.
I used to walk away from them.
Now I offer the private space I know women like us need.
